What This Site Is
Women of Florida Shelters is a peer navigation hub built to help survivors of domestic violence find the FCADV-certified shelter that serves their county, quickly and without barriers. We don't operate a shelter ourselves — we maintain this directory, map, and resource guide so that finding help doesn't add another obstacle to an already hard moment.
This site is a project of WOFS Women of Florida Shelters, a Florida-based nonprofit. Our 501(c)(3) status and EIN are currently in progress; we'll update this page once they're finalized.
Why We Do This
To make it faster and safer for survivors across Florida to find the help that's already out there — by keeping an accurate, easy-to-search directory of certified shelters and putting practical safety, legal, and financial resources in one place, at no cost to the people who need them.
